Description

The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama requires six full-time (40 hrs per week) with two alternates or eight flex-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's). Contract period shall be for one year with two one-year options for renewal. Contractor shall provide all labor, personal materials (i.e. personal attire such as uniforms and shoes, as well as any personal equipment such as stethoscopes), insurance, and transportation costs associated with providing CNA's to the VAMC. The CNA's will be expected to perform a wide variety of duties with the goal of increasing the comfort level and spirits of the VAMC patient/s. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. Estimated date for solicitation issuance, February 7, 2001. Estimated bid opening date is February 28, 2001.
