- Description
- The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office, Atlanta, Georgia, is soliciting the services of a qualified medical entity located within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of the Federal Correctional Institution in Jesup, Georgia. The services will be provided for the inmates incarcerated in the medium and low security facilities and a minimum security camp located at 2600 Highway 301 South, Jesup, Georgia 31545. The hospital shall make available on a nondiscriminatory basis, inpatient and outpatient hospital/medical services, in a manner consistent with the medical needs of the patients and in accordance with medical standards for quality and cost-effective patient care. The preferred payment methodology is BENCHMARKING. Hospitals are requested to contact the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. All requests for solicitation packages or information must be in writing and include the RFP number (RFP 30703-003), specific information about the location of your facility, the name of the contact person(s) and telephone number. Location of the facility will be within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of the Federal Correctional Institution. The estimated issue date of the Request for Proposal is Thursday, March 1, 2001 with an anticipated receipt date of Tuesday, April 17, 2001. The contract period will include a base year and four (4) one year option renewal periods. The estimated inpatient days are as follows: Base year minimum 25, maximum 275 inpatient days; Option Year (1) minimum 25, maximum 275 inpatient days; Option Year (2) minimum 25, maximum 275 inpatient days; Option Year (3) minimum 25, maximum 275 inpatient days; Option Year (4) minimum 25, maximum 275 inpatient days.*****
