Description

The Francis Marion National Forest plans to contract for Monitoring Nesting Activity in 97 Red-cockaded Woodpecker (RCW) clusters in Berkeley and Charleston Counties, South Carolina. The purpose of this job is to collect nesting data on the red-cockaded woodpecker (RCW) population in the Francis Marion National Forest (Forest) during the 2001 nesting season. This data will be used to guide management of the RCW in the Forest and in several research projects on population trends, efficacy of artificial cavities, reproductive behavior and cavity competition. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, and perform all work in accordance with the specifications and exhibits of the contract. No materials, labor or equipment will be furnished by the Government unless specifically identified in the Government Furnished Property clause.
