Description

This is a Combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-18 and DAC 91-13. This is a 100% small business set aside. The standard industrial codes are 3631- 750 employees; 3632 -- 1000 employees and 3639-500 employees. This is a Brand Name only. No Substitutions will be accepted. The items are as follows: (1) 30 ea Gas Ranges, standard, with rack guard, four sealed range top burners, w/2 removable oven racks, roll out broiler, porcelain oven door with window, interior oven light, digital clock timer and electronic ignition, white only. To be Magic Chef Model 31213WAV. (2) 30 ea Refrigerators, 18.5 cubic foot, top mount model, frost free, shelves and crispers, white only. To be Magic Chef Model CTB1922ARW. (3) 30 ea Dishwashers, tri power sweep wash system, automatic water heating, 6 hour delay start option, 4 wash cycle selections, white only. To be Magic Chef Model DU6500. All responsible sources may submit a quote. All Contractors submitting a quote are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for para (b) apply to this acquisition: (22) (24) and under para (e) the following apply: (1), (2), (3), and (4). The following DFAR Clauses apply to this acquisition: DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b): DFAR 252.225-7035 Buy American Act -- North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act -- Balance of Payments Program Certificate; DFAR 252.225-7036 North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act; DFAR 252.225-7008 Supplies To Be Accorded Duty-Free Entry; DFAR 252.225-7037 Duty-Free Entry -- NAFTA County End Products and Supplies; DFAR 252.232-7009 Payment by Electronics Funds Transfer. Quotes are solicited FOB Destination to MCAS Yuma, AZ. Delivery is required for all items on or before 1 March 2001. Award will be made based on price utilizing the REVERSE AUCTION METHOD. The reverse auction will take place on 30 January 2001 at 1400 EST. To participate in the reverse auction, quoters must contact SSgt Puebla at 760-725-4205 to register no later than 29 January 2001. Quoters must also submit the following information to SSgt Puebla via fax at 760-725-4346 no later than 29 January 2001 @ 4:00 P.M.
