Description

This is an Industry Day Conference /invitation/ announcement prepared by the GTN Program Office for the procurement of GLOBAL TRANSPORTATION NETWORK 21 (GTN 21). The primary focus to be addressed at this Industry Day is the GTN 21 Technical Requirements Document (TRD). This is an invitation to participate in this conference and does not constitute either an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. A draft request for proposal is tentatively scheduled to be released on HERBB the second quarter of calendar year 2001. The Industry Day Conference will be conducted on Tuesday, 27 February and Wednesday, 28 February 2001 at Holiday Inn Collinsville Conference Center, Collinsville IL (for location information: www.holidayinncollinsville.com). This is the second in a series of Industry Days for the GTN 21 Program. The Industry Day will be two days: the first day will consist of briefings pertaining to GTN 21 Technical Requirements Document, and all interested parties are encouraged to attend; the second day will consist of face to face discussions on any GTN 21 technical issues or other programmatic topics. Attendance on both days will be limited to three (3) attendees from each prospective source. All interested parties planning to attend are required to notify Major John Licari, at (618) 229-1214 or email at John.Licari@hq.transcom.mil and Capt David Huber at David.Huber@hanscom.af.mil no later than 16 February 2001 with the names and affiliation of the attendees (no more than three per organization). Registration for the individual face-to -face discussions can also be arranged with Major Licari. Participation in the Industry Day conference is voluntary. The information presented herein will not obligate the Government in any manner. The Government will not reimburse the attendees for any cost associated with participation and is under no obligation to award any related contract associated with this event.
