Description

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NASA/MSFC plans to acquire: Item Number 1: Quantity: 15 each. Part Number 64SW-50SB-S-16-21635 or equal. Sapphire Windo radiometer with schmidt-boelter sensor except with stainless steel insulator 0.25 inch thick per Medtherm drawing 21635. 0-50 BTU/FT2/SEC. Item Number 2: Quantity: 20 each. Part Number 64-50SB-20 or equal. Water-cooled calorimeter with schmidt-boelter sensor per Medtherm drawing 20037. 0-20 BTU/FT2/SEC. Item Number 3: Quantity: 20 each. Part Number 64-50SB-50 or equal. Water-cooled calorimeter with schmidt-boelter sensor per Medtherm drawing 20037. 0-50 BTU/FT2/SEC. Item Number 4: Quantity: 5 each. Part Number 32-500-18-20608 or equal. Water-cooled calorimeter with gardon sensor per Medtherm drawing 20608. 0-500 BTU/FT2/SEC. Item Number 5: Quantity: 1 each. Part Number 32-500-18-20608 or equal. Water-cooled calorimeter with schmidt-boelter sensor per Medtherm drawing 20608. 0-300 BTU/FT2/SEC. The drawings may be issued upon request. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than January 31, 2001. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
