Description

The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ intends to negotiate and award a contract to Maxwell Physics International, 2700 Merced Street, San Leandro, CA 94577-0599 on a sole source basis. The contract is for 5 each right hand modules (450KV & 1MV), 2 each left hand trigger modules (1MeV), 1 each module chamber (1MeV), 2 each top modules (450KV & 1MV) and 6 each left hand modules (450KV & 1 MV). These items are replacement parts for a pulsar system currently in use at the USAYPG. Maxwell is the original equipment manufacturer of the existing system. All replacement parts must be compatible with the existing equipment. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This information shall be submitted via e-mail to the address listed within this synopsis or via facsimile to 520-328-6849. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the response date specified within this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
