Description

Refrigerated Warehouse Services for Handling, Storage and full service distribution and transportation of various types and quantities of fresh fruit and vegetables for local and surrounding area government commissary stores and troop issue support. Inclusive of requirement for Government Produce Buying Office Administrative space. Offerors should be zonally located in the San Diego, Ca. mission area. The base year contract will run from 01 October 01 through 30 September 02. Possible contract renewal for (3) three additional one year option periods will be included in the solicitation. this acquisition is unrestricted -- both large anad small business concerns may offer. Best Value/Source Selection methodology of procurement will be used in the selection of awardee. The ancipated solicitation issuance date is 12 February 2001.
