This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). ACOUSTIC TESTER (QUANTITY -- 1 EACH:) FRACTURE WAVE DETECTOR PORTABLE DIGITAL ACOUSTIC EMISSION ANALYZER 7 30MHZ .12 BIT A/D 7 PENTIUM II BASED COMPUTER 7 CD-RW DRIVE 7 WAVE EXPLORER 7 NOISECHEK 7 WAVECHEK 7 WAVECHEK DIRECRT 7 WAVECLASS SOFTWARE DIGITAL WAVE CORPORATION FM-1 AE SENSORS (QUANTITY -- 4 EACH) WIDE BAND ACOUSTIC EMISSION SENSOR, 4 M DIAMETER DIGITAL WAVE CORPORATION B1080 NASA/GRC intends to purchase these items from Digital Wave Corporation. This is a direct replacement instrument to be used for on going test. Old data files from earlier test will be compared with newer tests and must be run through the same analysis and proprietary software for the data to be consistent. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334515 and 500, respectively.
