Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee WA is searching for replacements for a Westinghouse Type DV Surge Capacitor which is no longer being manufactured. The capacitors are used in protective cabinets which, with the equipment within them, protect the system from voltage surges. The specifications are as follows: 125 microfarad, rated voltage 18 kV, 60 hertz, Westinghouse Style Number 76090473. Physical Dimensions: Can: 4 inches wide, 13.5 inches long, 14 inches tall; Bushing: 12 inches tall; Total Height: 26 inches. The replacement capacitor can be smaller, but not larger than the stated dimensions to enable quick replacement, when necessary. The Bureau of Reclamation currently has a requirement for four (4) each.
