Description

It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to provide refuse collection services at the Naval Security Group Activity, Winter Harbor, Maine by means of a firm fixed price contract. The term of the contract resulting from this solicitation will be for a period of one year with one option year. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTRACT. BIDDERS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAIURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION DATABASE MAY RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. The proposed contract is considered for a 100% HUB Zone set-aside. Interested Hub Zone concerns that meet the criteria must indicate their interest by submitting evidence of their capability to perform (three references with names, phone and contract numbers) within 15 days of this notice. If adequate interest is not received within the time specified, the contract will be issued as unrestricted subject to FAR 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for Hub Zone Small Business Concerns. Replies to this notice are requested for NAICS Code 562111, Solid Waste Collection. Bids from all responsible sources shall be considered. A bid opening date has not been established for this solicitation. The bid opening date will be indicated on the bid documents in the solicitation package.
