Description

Solicitation for Janitorial Services, Refuse Pick-Up and Removal, at Thomson Causeway Recreation Area, Mississippi River, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, Clock Tower Building, Rock Island, IL 61204-2004. Solicitation will be issued on or about 01/24/01. Contract will be for a 1-year period with one additional option period. All responsive proposals will be considered. The period of performance for the base period for facilities cleaning and refuse pick-up is April 12, 2001 thru October 28. The period of performance for the option period for facilities cleaning and refuse pick-up is April 11, 2002 thru October 27. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil/. Contractors will be able to download the solicitation. The solicitation will include daily facilities cleaning, daily refuse pick-up and disposal at the recreation site. See Numbered Note 1.
