Description

NON PERSONAL SERVICES -- ARMY COMMUNITY SERVICE, FORT STORY, VIRGINIA FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM (FAP) PREVENTION SPECIALIST -- PART TIME (16 hours at Fort Story and 4 hour at Fort Eustis, Virginia per week). FAP provides education, prevention, and advocacy to promote healthy families and prevent family maltreatment. The FAP Prevention Specialist is responsible for assessing needs and implementing services in the Fort Story community-soldiers and their families, professionals, and commanders-with the intent of supporting families, preventing abuse, and encouraging early identification and reporting of child and spouse abuse. The FAP Prevention Specialist works in collaboration with civilian and military agencies in Hampton Roads on behalf of Fort Story families, living on the installation or in surrounding civilian communities. This contract is for the period 01 February 2001 through 30 September 2001 with 3 option years, if exercised. ALL CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTER IN ORDER TO BE AWARDED THIS CONTRACT. If an individual is bidding on this, they are responsible for paying all income taxes.
