Description

This is a Request for Quotations for the purpose of securing services for the scalping of planting spots, the care and planting of Government-furnished tree seedlings by auger on an estimated 358 acres of National Forest Land, and removing competing vegetation from the area immediately adjacent to planted seedlings. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies except for those designated as Government-furnished, and incidentals to perform all work specified. This project is located on the Upper Lake Ranger District, Mendocino National Forest in Lake County, California. A pre-bid tour is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. February 14. The Government will award the contract to the offeror whose offer represents the besst value to the Government based on price and past performance. Estimated issue date is February 5 with an estimated due date of February 26.
