Description

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for commercial items consisting of fifty (50) A-55 Reels with trunks as detailed in the specifications and drawings. An A-55 Reel is a sounding reel that is used to suspend stream gaging and water quality sampling equipment and may be used with sounding weights up to 100 pounds. It can be easily mounted on cranes, cable cars, bridge boards, and boat outfits. The weight of the reel, including carrying case (trunk), is approximately 32 pounds. Specifications and drawings contain specific details about the item and can be received by requesting them in writing from the Contracting Officer. The specifications and drawings are not available electronically and therefore will not be available for viewing/downloading from our website; they can only be obtained through the mail. Quotes are due by COB on February 9, 2001. The proposed procurement listed here is set aside for small businesses only. All vendors who can meet this requirement are invited to submit quotes for this posted RFQ.
