Description

DESC: FSC F008 RECREATION SITE MAINTENANCE -- The US Army Corps of Engineers St Paul District will require the performance of maintenance services for the Blackhawk Park Recreation Area near DeSoto, Wisconsin. This procurement is to be set aside 100% for small business and awarded utilizing commercial item simplified acquisition procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 561990 with a small business size standard of $5.0 million. The requirement includes furnishing all plant, materials, equipment, supplies, labor and transportation necessary to conduct grass mowing and trimming, trash and debris collection and removal, and cleaning and sanitary maintenance services on privies and picnic shelters. Also, spring and fall grounds cleanup and miscellaneous cleaning and maintenance services to boat launches and docks, playground areas and equipment, picnic tables and benches, grills and fireplaces, water fountains, information stands, trailer dump stations, and beach and other public use facilities. The requirement includes a basic purchase of services from 9 April 2001 through 30 November 2001. There will be two (2) option items that each include the outlined services for the same time frame in the subsequent years. Estimated order of magnitude of the requirement (including options) is between $100,000 and $250,000. It is anticipated that the formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) DACW37-01-Q-0021 will be posted to the US Army Corps of Engineers St Paul District World Wide Web site at http://mvpwww.mvp.usace.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp on or before 6 February 2001. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this web site only. All potential quoters are encouraged to register at this web site under this RFQ for e-mail message notification of the posting of the solicitation and all amendments.
