Description
Award of an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated to provide technical support to HQ AFCESA/CES, Tyndall AFB, FL, for Airfield Services and Airfield Facilities world wide. The overall objective of this work is to provide all labor, equipment, tools, management, supervision, scientific, engineering, technical preparation, documentation and support the Air Force in its work with airfield services and facilities. Of particular interest is the work associated with United States involvement in NATO Working Groups and the Air Standardization Coordinating Committee's Working Parties concerning airfield services and facilities such as; visual aids (lighting, signs, marking, etc.); clearance plans; air traffic control; and crash, fire, and rescue (CFR). Other items or services necessary to perform the work required are preparation of Air Force Instructions, manuals, pamphlets, and engineering technical letters; review of airfield facilities designs; and analysis and troubleshooting of operational methods and practices. Contractor will be required to provide the Contracting Officer evidence of recent Army, Navy, Air Force, NATO, and Air Standardization experience and capability to comply with the above requirements. Contractor personnel will be required to obtain proof of authorized access to NATO Classified Information and possess a NATO Secret clearance. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. All requests must be in writing. The date for receipt of proposal is not definite, but will be no earlier than 30 days after date of issuance. Award of a contract is anticipated to be for a basic year with 4 1-year options. This proposal is solicited on an unrestricted basis under standard industrial classification code 8742.
