Description

Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation is notifying prospective offerors that a RFP will become available on January 23, 2001 for Regrading Services including adjusting well vault and sump installation at the Mattiace Petrochemical Site, located in Glen Cove, Long Island, (Nassau County) New York. Bonding will be required with proposals and any resultant award. This action is in response to USEPA Work Assignment No. 007 under the RAC II Contract No 68-W-98-214. The site is approximately 1.9 acres. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Services are tentatively required to commence in March 2001 and be completed six weeks thereafter. Firms requesting a solicitation package must demonstrate prior experience in performing similar activities. You will be required to submit your mailing address (no p.o. box numbers), contact name and telephone number. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. ALL PROPOSALS IN RESPONSE TO THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 19, 2001. Foster Wheeler assumes no responsibility of when your firm receives this package. A MANDATORY PREBID SITE VISIT is scheduled for February 6, 2001 at 10 a.m. (refer to RFP Proposal Instructions for details) PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM ANY OFFEROR WHO IS NOT REPRESENTED AT THE SITE VISIT.
