Description

The previous CBD announcement for the Pyrotechnic Parachute Release System (PPRS), which was posted on 12 Jan 2001 and appeared in the printed edition on 17 Jan 2001, is hereby modified. Specifically, the sentences "Initially, the PPRS requirement was acquired competitively. CONAX Florida Corporation was awarded the contract and has been sole supplier of PPRS to USSOCOM." are corrected to read, "Initially, the PPRS requirement was acquired as an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) under the NSW RIB contract USZA22-96-D-0006. CONAX Florida Corporation was a subcontract under this ECP and has been sole supplier of the PPRS to USSOCOM."
