- SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, tools, equipment, and material to replace the Houston ship channel entrance range outer rear light structure. The work includes constructing a land-based wood pile supported platform foundation, installing a government furnished 45_ tall free-standing tower, and carefully removing the existing adjacent 45_ tall steel tower to be returned to the Coast Guard Base and demolishing and disposing the wood pile supported foundation. The work will be located in Galveston, Texas. The performance period is 40 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award is anticipated on or about February 20, 2001. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990, with a size standard of $27.5 M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
