Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials necessary to remove material to required depths within limits shown on the drawings and as specified. The use of Hopper Type Dredges are Restricted. Rocks, cobbles (3 to 12 inches) and boulders (over 12 inch) may be encountered near breakwaters, revetments and pier heads and shall not be removed if they are part of the harbor structures. Dredge approximately 11,000 cubic yards from Black River Harbor, Michigan and 6,000 cubic yards from Cornucopia Harbor, Wisconsin. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Period of performance is 60 calendar days after receipt of the NTP. This project is available on the Internet Web Site.
