Description

NO. 26 Based upon market research the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in it's solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may notify the Contracting Officer of their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The NSN is 5961-00-486-6074. This is a Semiconductor Device, Diode. The approved sources are Microsemi Corp. (59377) P/N D8197AJ, and Hamilton Sundstrand (99167) P/N 938D679-11. The desired delivery is 1000 each in 90 days and any remaining quantity at the rate of 500 each every 30 day until complete. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The quantity variance is as follows: 1 -- 249, 250 -- 499, 500 -- 999, 1000 -- 2499, 2500 -- 3000. It is anticipated that a Long Term IQ Contract will result from this solicitation. It is anticipated that this will result in a one year LTC with 3 option years for a possible total of 4 years. The min quantity requirement shall be 1 each with a max quantity not to exceed 40,000 each during the life of the contract.
