Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NEEDED: Quantity of one each (1), of a Jaguar Closed Loop Control and Analysis System with eighteen (18) channels consisting of the following parts and or components: (PLEASE NOTE,THE FOLLOWING PARTS AND OR COMPONENTS ARE FROM SPECTRAL DYNAMICS, AS THIS SYSTEM MUST BE COMPLETELY COMPATIBLE WITH A SPECTRAL DYNAMICS SYSTEM THAT HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED BY THE NASA GLENN RESEARCH CENTER) ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE QUANTITIES OF ONE (1) EACH: A) Part number NPN Jaguar clolsed loop control and analysis system. B) Part number 2560-9700-1 Desktop analysis/control peripheral with 8 input channels, 1 output channel(expandable to 38 total input channels. A larger chassis is available to allow expansion to 98 input channels. C) Part number 2560-9460 Ultra 5, with 270 MHZ CPU, 128 MB RAM memory, 256 MB Cache, 4.3 Gigabyte Hard Disk, CD ROM. D) Part number 2560-9463 19 inch High Resolution color display. CONTROL AND ANALYSIS SOFTWARE TO INCLUDE: A) Part number 2560-9420 Jaguar random vibration control. B) Part number 2560-9421 Jaguar Sine vibration control. C) Part number 2560-9422 Jaguar tracked resonance dwell. D) Part number 2560-9429 Jaguar Sine analysis (NO CONTROL, REQUIRES COLA) E) Part number 2560-9423 Jaguar Classic Shock. F) Part number 2560-9427 Jaguar signal. SYSTEM MUST INCLUDE: A) ONE YEAR ON-SITE WARRANTY. B) ON-SITE INSTALLATION AND ON-SITE CALIBRATION AT SIX (6) MONTHS. C) Part number NPN Trade-in software credit from the 2552B already at NASA to the Jaguar System requested above. D) Part number 2560-9400 Input Channels 9-18 Expansion 10 Channel Card. NOTE: ALL OF THE ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS MUST BE MET, NO EXCEPTIONS! PER THE FAR REGUALTIONS 13.104b, THIS SHALL BE ON AN ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL BASIS; NO EXCEPTIONS! ALL QUOTES MUST EITHER BE FAXED, HARD COPY MAILED OR E-MAILED. NO PHONE SOLICITATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED! NO EXCEPTIONS! The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-18. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 339111 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to The NASA Glenn Research Center is required within thirty (30)days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by 1-26-2001 4:30 P.M., NO EXCEPTIONS,and may be mailed or faxed to The NASA Glenn Research Center, Attn: Dennis D.
