Description

Contractor will be provided a Government owned facility at Fort Jackson, South Carolina to operate a Contractor Operated Parts Automotive Repair Store. The Government anticipates a requirements contract for a base and four option years.Contract expected to commence 01 June 2001. Parts shall consist of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts which include automobile, truck and bus parts obtainable only from the OEM. Special parts are to be included. Rebuilt parts such as engines and short blocks, transmissions, generators, alternators, carburetors, starters, fuel pumps, breakshoes and transfer cases and after market parts are included. Sources of supply include J I Case, Yale and Towne Fortlift, Caterpillar, Tymco, John Deere, Toyota, Briggs and Stratton, Allis Chalmers, Tecumseh, Kohler, Wisconsin, Hyster, Ditchwitch, Jacobson, Skytrak, Crown, Fiat Allis, Cummins, Delco, Tow Motor, Dresser, Prime Mover, United Tractor, Miller, Kut-Kwik, Buton, Graveley and Toro. Contractor shall operate the facility 40 hours per week Monday through Friday (with exceptions for over-time). The Government will be unable to maintain an official Bidders List for this requirement. It is encumbent upon all interested bidders to periodically access the site to determine if any amendments have been issued. Failure to obtain amendments and acknowledge them in a timely manner may result in rejection of the bid. This requirement will be solicited as Unrestricted with a 10% Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Certified Firms. The applicable NAICS Code is 42112, 100 Emp.
