Description

The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, FL 32407-7001 intends to issue a sole source purchase order to BAE Systems, Austin Texas for follow on work to contract N61331-96-D-0019. The contractor shall perform Threat Reduction Manuever runs on DEC ALHA computer systems running the VMS System. The contractor shall prepare a simulation study plan to provide improved tactics recommendations for the DDG51 flight lla class destroyer to overcome torpedo attach. The contractor shall prepare a simulation study plan to provide improved tactics recommendations for the DDG51 Flight IIa class destroyer to overcome torpedo attack. The contractor shall prepare the TRM simulation by modifying the input data files, torpedo characteristics, and ship maneuvers in accordance with the study plan developed above. The contractor shall conduct simulation runs in accordance with the plan developed above on TRM and deliver the data to CSS for analysis. The contractor shall prepare a report (draft and final) containing the results for the simulation study conducted above.
