Description

Subject to the approval by USD(AT&L) of the Addendum to the JSF Acquisition Strategy, the JSF Program Office intends to award a cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) contract to Pratt & Whitney, 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108. This contract award will allow for the procurement of schedule critical long lead material, conducting engineering material design and rig testing for technology maturation, and risk reduction activities to ensure a smooth transition into EMD. P&W is the only Contractor that can perform the necessary engineering support and procure the long lead material within the required JSF EMD schedule.
