Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the simplified acquisition procedures in FAR part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 6TSA-01-JMT-0062 is being issued as a request for proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. This procurement is for the following: CLIN 1: Apple DVD Studio Pro 1.0, QTY. 1; CLIN 2: Power MACG4, 733 MHz, NOTE: the configuration for this order is a BTO Built to Order. NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: The client is requesting potential vendors to state whether these items are immediately available for shipping. If so, please note the approximate receiving date for all items. If immediate shipping is not available, please give the delivery dates on which items are and which are not available for immediate delivery. Potential vendors also need to state on their quote the warranty terms and maintenance terms. Quotes must also state on that the items are Army Architecture. Failure to supply this information on the submitted quote will lead to immediate rejection of the quote. This procurement is for the Department of the Army at Ft. Belvoir, VA. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation is based on best value including past performance, cost and ability to meet service requirements. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition to the guidance contained in FAR 52.212-4, contractors shall submit proof of delivery with their invoices. Proof of delivery may be in the form of a bill of lading or other shipping document signed by the receiving office. Invoices received without proof of delivery will not be accepted. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
