Item 0001 NSN 5985-01-307-6289 P/N: 8811-3900-1, The purpose of this synopsis is to obtain a repair contract for item 0001. Delivery schedule shall be 60 ARO or ARR whichever is later. 2ea. Applicable to: An/Tpt-T1. Destn: Hill Air Force Base, Ut 84056-5820. The approximate issue/response date will be 01 FEB 2001. The anticipated award date will be 05 Mar 2001. The estimated quantities are not the total requirements of the government, but are an estimate of quantities that may exceed what the government activity may furnish within its own capabilities. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
