Description

The National Park Service (NPS), Yosemite National Park, is seeking sources who have commercial experience furnishing and installing Recirculating Sand Filter Systems. This project consist of converting an existing 4000 gallon septic tank to a recirculation tank, installing pumps and pump control panels, relocating existing water and electrical lines, and installing a split rail cedar fence. This project follows the 1999 installation of three new septic tanks, a new distribution box, and new leach lines, completing the replacement of a wastewater treatment system for a showerhouse at the Crane Flat Yosemite Institute Environmental Education Campus in Yosemite National Park. The system is sized for 1500 gallons per day and 400 to 800 milligrams per liter of Biological Oxygen Demand. The Government's estimate for this project is between $40,000 and $100,000. Yosemite National Park is inviting all sources who have as a minimum satisfactorily installed 10 Recirculating Sand Filter Systems for commercial facilities. All interested sources must provide a list of references for each of their completed commercial Recirculating Sand Filter Systems. This is a sources sought notice only.
