Description

The Contractor shall supply all labor, management, materials, tools, testing equipment, transportation, permits, licenses and supervision necessary to maintain all Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation equipment at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, Providence, Rhode Island. The contract will be a firm fixed price. The work includes seasonal start-ups and shutdowns; preventive and corrective maintenance; and emergency and routine service in accordance with the standards contained herein. The National American Industrial Code Standard (NAICS) is 235110. The size standard is $11.5 million. This proposed contract is issued as 100% SET-ASIDE for SMALL BUSINESS. The issue date is on or about 30 January 2001. Offer due date is 05 March 2001. Base performance period is one year with (4) four one-year options. There is a non-refundable charge for the plans and specifications of $3.00. Prospective bidders interested in obtaining this solicitation must submit their request, along with either a CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIERS CHECK, COMPANY CHECK, VISA, MASTERCARD, or DISCOVER CARD annotated with the appropriate solicitation number to: Defense Automated Printing Services (DAPS), 47 Chandler Street, Newport, RI 02841. Cash or personal checks will not be accepted. Each check must be made payable to the SUPERINTENDENT OF DOCUMENTS, and annotated with the applicable solicitation number. One set of plans and specs will be sent first class mail. Any check received without a solicitation number or not made out to the Superintendent of Documents will be returned unprocessed.
