Description

Provide services for Laboratory Analytical Services support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District for the chemical analysis of soils, sediments, sludges, ground waters and other environmental samples. These samples have typically been collected from various hazardous and toxic waste site cleanup projects. Analytical services will be performed by the Contract Laboratory in support of the hazardous waste investigation and remediation programs conducted by, or on behalf of, the Sacramento District. Both primary samples and quality assurance samples will be collected from various hazardous and toxic waste sites, Army or Air Force bases, waste streams, or other typical environmental sample sources. The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment and materials required to obtain technically valid and legally defensible environmental data that will meet or exceed the required site-specific Data Quality Objectives. Analysis will be performed under SW-846 methods. The laboratories must retain current certification by the state where the project is physically located or current certication under the National Environment Laboratory Accreditation Program(NELAP). Also the laboratories must retain current validation by the Corps of Engineers, HTRW Center of Expertise (HTRW-CX).
