Description

Naval Air Warfare Center -- Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, California, has a requirement to procure maintenance services for the following Hughes equipment: 1 each Automatic Wire Bonder, Model HMC-2460-II, Serial N550; and 1 each Automatic Die Bonder, Model HMC-2500-I, Serial 107. The maintenance services will take place on site at NAWCWD Point Mugu, California. The contractor will be required to furnish a qualified technician to provide the government with evaluation, analysis, and repair services sufficient to repair the above listed equipment. A 48-hour response time after notification by telephone will be required. After maintenance/repair, the contractor shall administer a thorough acceptance test of the system(s) in the presence of the government point of contact to verify that the system conforms to the manufacturer's published specifications. The contractor shall furnish a typical commercial field service report listing the evaluation of the problems that were found, maintenance work performed, and list of parts installed. Period of performance will be 2/1/01 through 9/30/01 (8 months). Contractor is required to be registered in the Department of Defense's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr2000 prior to receiving an award resulting from this solicitation. Contractor must provide its Federal Tax I.D., DUNS number, and CAGE number. All requests for a copy of the RFQ must be made in writing, faxed to 805-989-3656, Attn: Barbara Contreras. Telephone requests will not be accepted. FOB: Destination pricing only. All responsible sources may submit a bid that will be considered by the agency. RFQ will close on or before 01/30/01. Faxed bids will be accepted. See Note 22.
