Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Murdock Webbing Co., Inc. of Central Falls, RI for the procurement of a basic quantity of twenty specialized nylon arresting tape intended for use on the Marine Corps M31 Expeditionary Arresting Gear System and manufactured in accordance with NAWCADLKE Drawing Nos. 3596AS380, 3596AS379, and 3596AS381 and related specifications, NAWCADLKE EN99-077, EN99-078, EN99-079. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Any interested parties must show capability evidence, including test data in sufficient detail, to provide identical products within the required schedule. Deliveries to commence beginning March 2001. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. See Note 22.
