Description

Project shall include general, mechanical, and electrical construction to replace current 5 ton A/C unit (not in use) and install a new 10 ton cooling split system A/C unit in accordance with drawings and specifications. Projected work includes minor plumbing, major HVAC, and substantial electrical work which involves the installation of circuit breakers in existing Square D emergency equipment branch panel. Scope will include running overhead circuit above ceilings and extend same circuits underground across roadway. All work will be as shown on plans and as described in specifications and drawings. The construction cost for the project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Total construction time will be 120 days. Solicitation packages will be available on or about January 19, 2001. Pre-Bid site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2001, at 10:00am; attendance is considered essential. Only written requests will be accepted for bid documents. Requests may be faxed or mailed to the above. Bid opening will be on or about February 20, 2001. NAICS code is 235310. NOTE: Subject to the availability of funds.
