Description

Installation of flood warning equipment at a total of 76 locations throughout Arizona. Specific locations will be identified in the IFB. In total, 63 sensor stations, 6 repeater stations, and 7 base stations are included. The plan identifies gauge type as follows: gauge, and RPT repeater, WS weather station. Design plans are included for each installation. The design plans illustrate the type of installation, location, and construction notes for each installation. Locations have been staked in the field and shall be verified during actual installation. Contractor shall be responsible for proper installation of all equipment. Criteria for determining exact location will be: maintaining radio path to a repeater or base station; stability; and avoidance of environmental impacts in accordance with all provisions of the Environmental Assessment for the project. NAICS Code is 54169 formally identified under SIC code as 8999 (Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, $5M average annual gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price contract to meet this need. The term of the contract shall be for one year from date of contract award. It is anticipated the Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be issued on or about February 2001. The estimated range of this procurement is between $500,000-$1,000,000. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting two weeks prior to bid opening.
