Description

FISHWAY IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE NORTH DAM, ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION, FARGO NORTH DAKOTA AND MOORHEAD MINNESOTA. Project work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material, and equipment necessary to place stone protection in the Red River of the North. The North Dam will be converted from a concrete weir to a rock rapids. The existing dam will stay in place. The work is anticipated to involve operation of equipment in the river. This procurement is a competitive, set aside small business with NAICS Code 234990 . (For informational purposes only, the small business size standard is $27.5 Million). Estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Plans and specifications are expected to be available approximately February 15, 2001 with bid opening occurring on or about March 15, 2001. Solicitation No. DACW37-01-B-0005 for this procurement of CD-ROM shall be made by registering via the St. Paul DISTRICT web site at www.mvp.usace.army.mil (click on "Contracts" then "Bid Solicitation").
