Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Lexington, KY., intends to award a firm-fixed price requirements type contract for the services of a Pharmacy Technician. These services shall be provided to the inmate population at the Federal Medical Center and Federal Prison Camp in Lexington, Ky. The successful contractor shall perform clerical and administrative duties consistent with the Pharmacy Technician. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The institution anticipates the need for four (4) sessions per week. Each session being seven and one-half hours in length. This is contractual position and will not exceed 30 hours in a given week. The anticipated period of performance will be from award, tentatively 4/1/2001 through twelve months. Additionally, the contact shall provide for four (4) twelve month option periods. The anticipated release date of this solicitation is January 25, 2001; closing February 27, 2001. All responsible sources may submit written requests for consideration.
