Description

The VA Healthcare Network Upstate NY at Buffalo intends to procure services to repair Pentax flexible scopes. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Pentax Precision Instruments, Orangeburg, NY. This firm is considered to be the only service organization with the ability to provide loaner scopes and repair and replace (with new)all components parts required for repair, as they are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The propsed Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for repair shall be for one year. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, third party firms will be considered if responding with clear and convincing evidence that they have the technical expertise to provide this critical maintenance, as well as provide loaner scopes. All responses must be submitted in writing.
