Description

This is a Request for Proposal for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for Hand Grubbing. Contract time will run for one year with the availability of one option to extend the term of the contract. During the base year the Government will order a minimum of 226 acres of grubbing and a maximum of 400 acres. If the option year is exercised, the Government will order a minimum of 100 acres and a maximum of 400 acres. The purpose of this contract is to secure services for manual gubbing of vegetation around conifer seedlings to enhance survival and growth on the Scott River Ranger District of the Klamath National Forest in Siskiyou County, California. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to perform all work specified therein. The Government will award the contract to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government based on the merits of the proposal for: technical approach, past performance, experience of project personnel, and price. Estimated issue date is 29 Jan 2001, with an estimated due date of 28 Feb 2001.
