Description

This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. RFQ01C-6 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase the following equipment: 1. Bar Code Scanner, SYM-LS4006lPS2 Symbol, LS4006-1 Bar Code Laser Scanner with 25-25988-201 Symbol Synapse cable and SYM2016501 Intellistand -- 194 each. Standard 24 months warranty is required. Delivery of 107 each 2 weeks ARO and balance in 30 days ARO. FOB: Destination: Library of Congress/Receiving Unit, Landover Center Annex, 1701 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to offerors -- Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Item. Under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.233-1 Disputes, 52.232-25 Prompt Payment. Quotation MUST BE IN WRITING, may be faxed on company letterhead on (fax) 202-707-8611 no later than January 29, 2001.
