Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepare in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. RFQ01C-5 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase one PhaseOne FX Digital Scanner and Software to include the following: 1. 2906 SCSI Card, 2. Rodenstock #150132 135mm f/5.6 objective lens, 3. Rodenstock Jam nut and tool/105, 4. Kodak Wratten 87C Infrared Filter (40.5mm, if available, otherwise 3" x 3"), 5. Horsemann LE 4" x 5" camera body, 6. G4 Macintosh Power PC including Fire Wire connection, Dual 500MHz Power PC g4, 1 MB L2 cache per processor, 256MB SDRAM memory, 40GB Ultra ATA drive, DVD-RAM w/DVD video, RAGE 128 Pro graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, 56K internal modem, 7. Xrite DPT 92 USB, 8. Apple 22-inch (diagonal) Cinema Display monitor, 9. Photoshp, Release 6.0, 10. Fetch, Release 3.0 or better, 11. Debabelizer, 12. CDRW 32x12x10 rewritable with Firewire connection, 13. Monitor Builder software, 14. Keyboard and mouse, 15. Nikon D1 Digital SLR, 16. Nikon Autofocus Speedlight SE-280DX, 17. Nikon 24-1120mm f/3.5 D-AF IF Auto Focus Lens, 18. Nikon CR -- USB reader, 19. Nikon Minidisc, Nikon rolling case, 20. Videssence 655-BSN high-freq flourescent light banks (2 each), 21. FT56/2G11/830 lamps (8 each), 22. ZS-656-W control screen wide (2 each), 23. Junior Low Rise Combo Stand #RS04 (2 each), 24. Zig-Align "Ease-Align ZA-2-4 Point" focus tool, 25. Bogen 3263 Generd Head, 26. Bogen 3269 Mounting Plate, 27. Viewsonic Nolda 19.6v 1800x1440. This equipment is to be provided, installed, configured, and calibrated by the vendor; training will also be provided by the vendor. The vendor must demonstrate previous experience and successful past performance must be provided in all the above. References of providing like systems. Unpacking, installation, configuration, calibration, and training charges should be stated explicitly and separate from hardware and software quoted. Warranty and maintenance shall include covering all original parts and labor for one year, as well as a quotation for one year maintenance contract, with a three year renewable option. Acceptability of proposal, delivery and installation, acceptance testing, deliverables and evaluations requirements are available upon reqest. All items shall be delivered within sixty days After Receipt of Order (ARO); FOB: Destination: Library of Congress/Receiving Unit, Landover Center Annex, 1701 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Intructions to Offerors -- Commercial Item, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Item, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Item, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders -- Commercial Item, 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Item. Under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.233-1 Disputes; 52.232-25 Prompt Payment.
