- Description
- DESCRIPTION: Proposals are being accepted for 2d Services, Barksdale AFB, LA, Open House and Air Show, to be held for two (2) days, 21 and 22 April 2001. The Thunderbirds will perform on the April 21, 2001. Concessionaire will provide food, soft beverages, programs, and souvenir services for the entire event. The event will be held from approximately 1000 to 1700 hours on both days to accommodate approximately 150,000-200,000 spectators. Concessionaire will adhere to the state and base requirements for subsistence to prevent spoilage, contamination, etc. Only top quality food products will be accepted. Concessionaire will be responsible for providing self-contained (includes all electrical/utility requirements) concession stands and canopies. Concessionaire must be able to assemble and setup all concession stands with canopies in the designated areas the day before and be fully operational by the morning of the event. Concessionaire will submit a detailed proposed food and soft beverage menu, a list of sundries, souvenirs etc., with prices and labor requirements for each booth. Concessionaire will also assume complete and sole liability for all national, state, and local taxes applicable to the property, income, and transactions of the concession service. Concessionaire will be fully responsible for providing staffing personnel, ordering all food and supplies, and controlling all inventories and cash handling. Concessionaire is requested to bid a FLAT FEE PROPOSAL for food, soft beverage, program, and souvenir operation. Additionally, the Concessionaire is also requested to bid a dollar amount to reimburse the NAFI for the base labor provided by the NAFI to man the concession booths. This amount will be based on the total amount of required labor hours. All offers will be considered. THIS PROPOSAL WILL RESULT IN THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT. This is a solicitation request by a Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate Appropriated Funds of the Government.
