Description

The University of California, Irvine is requesting solicitations for proposals to develop the conceptual design of a system of three superconducting magnets. These magnets will be installed at Brookhaven National Laboratory and form an important part of the MECO experiment. The scope includes the design of a magnet system including: coils, cryostats, vacuum vessels and associated pumping equipment, power supplies, controls, and the quench detection and protection subsystem.
