Description
Thank you for your interest in the Information Technology Tools (IT2) program. IT2 provides a five-year framework to conduct a series of iterative acquisitions to fulfill Air Force Information Technology (IT) requirements as existing contractual vehicles expire or new requirements evolve. The next iterative acquisition for Block III is for the Input/Output Peripherals (printers, plotters, scanners, multifunction devices, etc.) Supplier Market Category (SMC). Headquarters Standard Systems Group is seeking sources interested in participating in this acquisition. This is not a formal solicitation under FAR part 15 or FAr part 13 Simplified Acquisition, but an invitation to compete for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the terms and conditions of your General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.4. To participate in this acquisition, an invitation package containing all participation information is available for download at the HQ SSG web site located at web1.ssg.gunter.af.mil/pk/bizops or via the Electronic Systems Center (HERBB) web site located at www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential sources. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Manager or Contracting Officer, but to communicate offeror concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process. The Ombudsman should only be contacted with issues or problems previously brought to the attention of the Program Manager and/or the Contracting Officer, which could not be satisfactorily resolved, or issues that require contractor confidentiality.
