Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation number is F9SFCC10092700 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001213. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC Code is 5039/NAICS Code 444190 with the size standard at $5 million annually. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. PLEASE NOTE THAT FUNDING HAS YET TO BE APPROVED FOR THIS COMMERICAL ITEM AND THEREFORE IS BEING POSTED UNDER FAR 52.232.18 FUND AVAILABLITY. The government proposes to solicit quotes for the following item: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Request One (1) Minimum Pre-assembled rectangular 15' x 25' building NTE a maximum Pre-assembled rectangular 20' x 40' building without windows, no interior walls and one entrance way designed to house and protect specialized security training equipment from inclement weather. The contractor shall deliver and install the building no later than 31 March 2001. Minimum government specifications for the building and floor plan are available by contacting the 180th FW Base Contracting Office, 419-868-4142. SHIPPING/DELIVERY: Pre-assembled building is to be delivered to the 180th FW, 2660 S. Eber Road, Swanton, Ohio 43558-9645 NO LATER THAN 31 MARCH 2001 with coordination of the 180th Base Contracting Office and 180th SPS Commander. AWARD: This purchase will be based on the following criteria: Lowest price for item that meets or exceeds minimum specifications. Contractors shall provide detailed literature on the product they are offering.
