Description

Concerns having the ability to provide Comprehensive Sanctions Center services for male and female federal offenders in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a two year base period and three (3) year options is anticipated. Services for the base period are to begin March 1, 2002 and continue through February 28, 2004. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Council Bluffs, Iowa area. Estimated number of inmate days are 36,500 (27,740 males and 8,760 females) for the base period, and 18,250 (13,870 males and 4,380 females) inmate days for option years one, two and three. Estimated issue date is on or about February 5, 2001. Estimated closing date is April 6, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
