Description

Road maintenance consists of blading aggregate surface roads 350 miles; spot surface repair-aggregate surface roads, Contractor supplied material-400 C.Y.; spot surface repair-aggregate surface roads, Government-supplied material-1500 C.Y.; spot surface repair-crushed limestone, Contractor supplied material-400 tons; clean and reshape ditches-200 miles; and roadside mowing-350 miles. Award may be made separately by item(Item 1-blading, spot surface repair and ditching and Item 1A, mowing). Offerors may offer on one or both items. Project is located on the Homochitto Ranger District, Adams, Amite, Copiah, Franklin, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Wilkinson Counties, MS. The base period will be from date of award through 9/30/01 with four (4) one-year option periods. Offerors will be required to respond to the following evaluation criteria: (1) Experience and qualifications of firm performing work; (2) Experience and qualifications of operators performing work; (3) Equipment; (4) Emergency response time. Price will be evaluated separately from technical proposal. The proposed procurement is totally set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
