- Description
- The Naval Engineering Facilities Command plans to award, using full and open competition procedures, an engineering services contract, the objective of which is to obtain innovative environmental technologies and the performance incidental construction tasks related to innovative technologies applied to contaminated sites. The NAICS Code is 541330 (SIC 8711). Work will proceed predominantly at Navy and Marine Corps installations and occasionally at other U.S. government agencies worldwide. The effort may include construction, installation, testing, operation, evaluation and implementation of a variety of proven innovative remedial action technologies, strategies and systems and may also include preparation of technical documents and training for transfer of innovative technology efforts. The sites will consist of those ranked on the Superfund National Priority List (NPL), as well as, non-NPL sites regulated under Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Recourse Conservation and Recovery Act (RCR) sites, underground storage tanks (UST) sites and other sites which may require remediation. Any contract awarded as the result of this solicitation will be a Cost Plus Award Fee with Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for one year base period plus four (4) one year options. The estimated value of the base year and each of the option years is $15,000,000 each for a total estimated value of $75,000,000. To qualify for consideration, contractors must have an acceptable accounting system adequate to support a cost type contract. This solicitation will be available by INTERNET ACESS ONLY. All solicitation documents and amendments thereto will be posted on the NAVFAC E-Solicitation Website at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil/. The solicitation should be available at the aforementioned website on or around January 24, 2001, the closing date will be 30 days later. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to check the web site for any amendments; interested parties are required to register for the solicitation at the NAVFAC E-Solicitation Website.
