Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to award a modification to increase the Total Estimated Cost on contract number AOT-C-00-00-00168-00 to Private Agencies Collaborating Together (PACT). PACT was contracted to establish and manage a small grant administration program in furtherance of the Bureau for Humanitarian Response/Office of Transition Initiatives (BHR/OTI) program in Zimbabwe. The total amount allotted for the small grants program is $3,250,000. BHR/OTI has determined the need for an expansion of its program. The original award program is based on an unsolicited proposal, which the Government determined to be a unique and innovative approach that was independently originated and developed by the offeror, and prepared without the Governments supervision. The Government will not be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFPs) and will not be accepting proposals. PACT is deemed to be the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and service under authority of AIDAR 706.302-70 ii (5).
