Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a Competitive basis,70 bundles -- Sound Deadening Board, Insulating Board (Cellulosic Fiber), 4' X 8' x 0.5" thick, in accordance with ASTMC 208-72 (Re-approved 1982, no date) and D2277-87 (Approved 2/27/87). Both faces to be uncoated; edges square cut. To be delivered stacked and banded VERY TIGHTLY with 4 each, high-tensile STEEL bands, 1-1/8" X .031" or better in bundles of 96 sheets each, on side-loaded flatbed. NO DUNNAGE BETWEEN STRAPPING AND BOARDS. Material and Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and specification information REQUIRED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is N68936-01-T-0044. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. Delivery is required on or before 25 February 2001. NAWS China Lake, CA FOB point is Destination. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to the provision. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with his offer.
